Have you tried the Messageboards?
Given the huge amount of email we receive daily, most, newz items are better off being posted on the Messageboards, your newz item will be instantly available to the public as soon as you submit it.

Are shows newz?
Unless it's some sort of benefit or otherwise newsworthy event, all show/concert date hype should be posted on our Gig Calendar or Messageboards. Once an event is posted on our web calendar, we will add it to our weekly email newzletter and show listings. All posts on the web calendar are by users, sorry, we don't have time to add it for you, and simply emailing us a show listing won't get your show added to the newzletter.

Is it really newz?
If your news item is truly newsworthy, (un-newsworthy: Your band wants to play a show in Indy, newsworthy: Butch Vig is producing your Bands upcoming full length album), then feel free to email it here.

If you have a story suggestion, feel free to email it here, we will forward it to our staff of writers and hopefully one will feel the urge to give it some digital 'ink'. We're all volunteers here, and we write about music because we love it, but we don't have all the time in the world. Thus, IndianapolisMusic.net has a "Be the Media" policy. Anyone is welcome to submit stories and pictures. With that in mind, there's really no reason why your event or story can't be covered.
